British alternative rock band Coldplay is all set to perform in India soon, and fans cannot keep calm! If you are among those who haven’t been able to secure a ticket to the concert yet, we have some good news for you. BookMyShow has announced additional tickets for Coldplay’s upcoming Mumbai concerts, which will take place on 18^th, 19^th and 21^st January, 2025 at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, as part of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour- India.

The limited additional tickets for Coldplay’s three Mumbai shows will go on sale on the BookMyShow app starting January 11 at 4 PM IST. Owing to the high demand, BookMyShow has set up a waiting room system that opens an hour before ticket sales begin, that is, at 3PM IST.  Announcing the same on social media, the online ticketing platform shared, “Limited tickets have been added for all Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025- India, Mumbai shows. Tickets will go LIVE today at 4PM IST.  Waiting room opens at 3PM IST.” They further mentioned that early entry in the waiting room doesn’t translate to priority in the queue for the tickets. Once the sale begins, each user will be assigned a position in the queue based on automated queue randomisation (AQR). Each user can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction. The users will have about 4 minutes to book the tickets once in the seat layout.

Needless to say, this announcement has brought a wave of joy among those who have been unsuccessful in securing the tickets so far. Some, however, also joked about how difficult it might be to secure the limited tickets. “Agar abhi bhi nahi mila to rashi me dosh hai,” commented one social media user, while another one joked, “This is officially Squid Game – Coldplay Edition – Everyone gonna get eliminated trying for these tickets.” “Yeah no I’m good, enough trauma,” read a third comment, while another Netizen wrote, “What is this toxic ex behaviour.”

Coldplay is ready to make history with their highly-anticipated performances in India. This marks Coldplay’s first performance in India since 2016. In addition to the Mumbai shows, Coldplay will also be performing at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26, 2025. In December, it was announced that Jasleen Royal, Elyanna and Shone will perform as special guests at Coldplay’s Mumbai and Ahmedabad shows.
