There was dense fog along with severe cold in Sitapur on Saturday. Cold wave and blanket of fog affected life since morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature on Friday was 16 degrees Celsius.

People got some relief after mild sunshine on Friday, but on Saturday morning again dense fog and strong winds increased the severity of cold. Due to fog, visibility on the roads was limited to only 230 meters, due to which vehicles had to move with lights on.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the next two days. Due to the severe cold, there is also a rise in the sales of electronic equipment and warm clothes. However, the weather is expected to clear and the sun will shine after noon, which may provide some relief to the people.
