A major robbery took place on Saturday evening at Lakshmi Jewelers located in Jamunapar police station area of ​​Mathura. Three miscreants entered the shop and looted jewelery and cash worth about Rs 3 lakh at gunpoint. The entire video of the incident should be captured in the shop’s CCTV camera.

The incident occurred at 5.30 pm, when two girls had come to the shop for shopping. Shop owner Yogesh Aggarwal was showing him the rings. Meanwhile, three masked miscreants entered the shop. Two miscreants immediately took out their guns and threatened everyone, while the third took out jewelery and cash from the safe and put it in a bag. Meanwhile, a miscreant’s mobile phone rang and they started running away in a hurry.

The police took immediate action and took the miscreants into custody. According to SP City Arvind Kumar, the miscreants were running away after looting cash worth Rs 5 to 10 thousand when they were caught. Police is engaged in further action and efforts are being made to recover the looted goods.

The incident has caused panic in the area as it happened in broad daylight in a busy area. Local traders have demanded increased security.
