Khushi Kapoor, who attended the trailer launch of her upcoming film Loveyapa with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, got teary-eyed when asked a question about her late mom Sridevi.

Khushi Kapoor, who had her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film ‘The Archies’, is gearing up for the release of her next film Loveyapa, in which she stars with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan. The trailer of the film released recently. Khushi, Junaid, Aamir Khan and others graced the trailer launch event of the film in Mumbai, and interacted with the media. Khushi got emotional as she remembered her late mother Sridevi during the trailer launch. When asked about her, Khushi politely refused to answer the question as she was feeling extremely emotional.

Khushi teared up a bit, and was visibly emotional as she replied to it. She politely refused to answer the question, saying, “I definitely feel emotional. I really don’t want to talk about it. “

Aamir Khan Remembers Late Sridevi

Meanwhile, at the trailer launch event, Aamir Khan spoke about late Sridevi, and praised her. He said, “Main Sridevi ji ka sabse badaa fan raha hu. Aap logon ko yeh pata hoga, shuru se I’ve always spoken about Sri aur mera yeh sapna tha ke ek din Sri ke saath kaam karne ka mauka mujhe mile (I have always been the biggest fan of Sridevi ji. You all are aware that I have always spoken about Sri and it was my dream to have the opportunity to work with Sri one day). So, it’s Khushi’s film and it’s an important moment for me. When I saw the film, I felt like I’m watching Sri again.” Aamir said that whenever Sridevi came in front of him, he would get tongue-tied.

Loveyapa Trailer

The trailer of Loveyapa was released by the makers yesterday. It begins with lighthearted scenes, showcasing the chemistry between Gaurav (Junaid Khan) and Baani (Khushi Kapoor). The plot takes a dramatic turn when Baani’s father (Ashutosh Rana) challenges the couple to swap phones as a test of love. What begins as a playful challenge soon spirals into chaos, revealing hidden secrets, cryptic messages, and past relationships, threatening their bond.

Directed by Advait Chandan (Laal Singh Chaddha), Loveyapa is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025. The film, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, is a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today.
