A woman has filed a case of cyber crime against her husband in Baheri, Bareilly. The accused created a fake ID and posted pictures of his wife on Instagram and made obscene comments about her. On the complaint of the victim, police started action under IT Act.

In the case, the victim told that she was married to the prince of Shishgarh. Since marriage, her husband used to beat her and have relations with other women. Feeling upset, the woman went to her maternal home. During this time, she came to know that her husband was trying to tarnish her image on social media.
According to the police, this case is a serious example of misuse of social media. In view of the increase in cyber crimes, law enforcement agencies are taking strict action in such cases. Police have started investigation against the accused.
