So that the people of Agra can also participate in this holy Mahakumbh, Roadways has made preparations to run 8 buses daily during Mahakumbh. From January 8 to January 11, 3 to 4 buses were going to Prayagraj every day. But, on Sunday (12 January) suddenly the number of pilgrims going to Mahakumbh increased. Actually, bathing in Mahakumbh is starting from 13th January. Shahi Snan is on 14th January. In view of this, Agra residents are going to Prayagraj in large numbers to participate in it.

By Sunday afternoon, 8 buses had been sent. Despite this, many passengers going to Prayagraj were seen waiting for buses at ISBT. In view of this, the roadways management decided to run additional buses. According to ARM Chandrahans, 10 buses were sent to Prayagraj till Sunday evening. All the buses were full. He told that till 26th February, 8 buses will go to Prayagraj every day. Their number will be increased if needed. 430 buses will operate Chandrahans of Agra Roadways said that Agra has been kept in the second phase. Most of the districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh have been kept on priority for the Shahi Snan to be held on 13 and 14 January. At the same time, roadways buses will be run from Agra and many surrounding districts for the third Shahi Snan on January 29. He informed that these 430 buses will be operated from Agra to Prayagraj Mahakumbh from 23rd and 24th January.

According to religious beliefs, by taking a bath in the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati during this holy event, a person attains salvation and all his sins are washed away.
