Bulandshahr Police has solved the case of robbery of a truck loaded with garlic. Police have arrested four accused including the truck driver. Investigation revealed that truck driver Nadeem had conspired to commit this robbery to repay his debt.

In this incident that took place on January 7 in Arnia police station area, the driver along with Nazim and other associates had looted 11 quintals of garlic. After the robbery, the driver himself lodged a complaint in the police station. However, the police were suspicious of the driver from the beginning.
According to SSP Shlok Kumar, all four accused were arrested in the joint action of SWAT team and police station. All the stolen garlic, a canter, Swift car, pistol and cartridges have been recovered from the accused. The value of the recovered garlic has been estimated to be around Rs 44 lakh.
