In Lucknow, cyber thugs duped a young man of earning lakhs for rating a product. After that, he was defrauded of Rs 88 lakh in the name of investment in pre-paid product. The victim has lodged an FIR in the cyber police station after realizing that he was cheated.

Cheated by pretending to be an Israeli company Sushant Golf City resident Mohit Chaturvedi told the police that on January 20, 2024, he received a message from Priya Prasad, an agent of Israel’s Wix company. In which it was said that there will be long earning by rating the product. After which, on the request of Priya Prasad, she started searching and rating their products on social media. After which he gave the user ID and started rating the mentioned product. Later he was cheated by investing about Rs 88 lakh in a pre-product.
Money came in the beginning, kept procrastinating later According to the victim, agent Priya Prasad had said that 0.47 percent commission will be given on the rating of the product. Which will be around Rs 900 to Rs 1200 per day. For this, rating of 33 products has to be given. After which, on his request, the rating was started from the ID given on the link sent. Due to which Rs 929 came into my account on the very first day.
Husband contacted informing about Priya Prasad’s illness According to the victim, Priya Prasad’s husband Prakash called the next day that Priya was in the hospital. If you want to earn more money then become an active member. For this, ten thousand rupees will have to be deposited. Due to which you will be able to earn 2 to 3 thousand rupees every day. I followed his advice and became a member on 22 January 2024 by sending him money from my SBI account. Cheated by luring more commission The cyber thug deposited Rs 11.5 lakh on the same day in the name of giving ten times profit to Mohit if he invested money in a pre-product. After that, by luring them in his words, he cheated about Rs 88 lakh from January 24, 2024 to January 7, 2025.
