In Kotwali Pihani, Additional Inspector Sanjay Tyagi called 84 history-sheeters and made them pledge not to commit crimes. At the same time, Inspector Nirbhay Singh, in-charge of Bharawan police station, administered oath to 38 history-sheeters and advised them to stay away from the world of crime. He said that there are a total of 119 history-sheeters in the area, out of which eight are in jail, 16 are elderly, and 20 have gone out for some work.

At Kotwali Beniganj, Kotwal Ashok Kumar Singh administered oath to 20 history-sheeters and told that there are a total of 106 history-sheeters here, out of which 26 are from outside the state and seven from the district. Police officials say that history-sheeters are being given another chance to mend their habits and if they are found involved in any crime in future, strict action will be taken against them.
