Devotees have come not only from every corner of India but also from abroad to take a dip in Mahakumbh. Today on Paush Purnima, the first bath started in the morning with a temperature of 12 degrees. Nearly 2 lakh devotees are taking bath every hour at Sangam Nose while chanting the praises of Mother Ganga. After bathing, devotee Francisco from Brazil said – The water is cold, but the heart is full of warmth.

Children, elderly and women are reaching Sangam by walking 10 kilometers each. Bathing ghats have been built in about 12 km area including Sangam Nose. After 144 years, a rare coincidence like churning of the ocean is taking place in Mahakumbh.

The roads leading to the ghat are full. It is taking about 1 hour to cover the distance of 500 meters.
