In early December, BLACKPINK’s Rose released her highly anticipated first-ever solo album, Rosie, which put her under the spotlight for many reasons. One of them is the album’s standout track, Toxic Till The End, featuring American actor and model Evan Mock. In the music video, he could be seen sharing some playful yet intense moments with the K-pop idol, which even sparked their real-life dating rumours.

Recently, Evan Mock was featured on the cover page of the February edition of Arena Homme Plus. During his conversation with the magazine, the 27-year-old model-actor spoke about his career at length, highlighting how it felt working with BLACKPINK’s Rose on the music video for Toxic Till The End.

Talking about the 27-year-old New Zealand-born singer’s work ethic and how enjoyable it was working with her, Evan told the publication, “It was an incredibly enjoyable experience to see how Rose works and collaborates. Watching her interact with people and handle various situations was very impressive.” He continued, “Witnessing how hard she works inspired me greatly and motivated me to start the new year with a fresh mindset.”

This comes after the Gossip Girl actor was spotted with Rose in Hawaii. On January 10, one of Evan’s relatives shared a picture on social media, where the two were seen holidaying together in the island state. As per speculations, the Hawaii-born actor celebrated New Year’s with his family, and Rose was also a part of it. However, Evan’s relative quickly deleted the picture, but the people on the internet had already taken a screenshot of it and widely circulated it on social media.

This was not the first time that the two stars got entangled in dating rumours. Just a month after Toxic Till The End’s release, Evan and Rose were spotted together in New York City. They reportedly wanted to spend some time together beyond work.

Back in December, the music video of Toxic Till the End caused a frenzy among the fans of the BLACKPINK member. Directed by Ramez Silyan, the song tells the story of the complexities of love through some intense moments, which also include a brief kiss between Rose and Evan. The scene immediately became the talk of the town, given that such intimate scenes are rare and totally unexpected in the K-pop genre.
