Let us tell you that this entire matter is in front of Union Bank located at Ratanpura market under Haldharpur police station area. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light here. Live CCTV footage of this accident is going viral, in which cyclist Amit Kumar (28) can be seen crushed by a car rider and then fleeing with the car.
It was seen in the CCTV footage that the cyclist was going next to the car. Then, due to another vehicle passing nearby at high speed, the cyclist became unbalanced and fell under the car. When people ran to save the injured, the car rider ran away with the car in panic, crushing the cyclist again.
After the incident, nearby people immediately came forward to help and admitted the seriously injured cyclist to the nearest hospital. Due to the wisdom and quick action of the local people, the injured person could get timely medical help. The family members of the injured have filed a complaint in the police station against the car driver, demanding action.
The police have started investigation in the case on the basis of CCTV footage. A case has been registered against the car driver for negligent driving and fleeing the spot after the accident. The police station chief said that the car driver is being searched and he will be arrested very soon.
