The constable is accused of taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 for releasing a shopkeeper who was caught in the business of selling Chinese liquor. After which that constable was transferred.

What is the whole matter..

According to the information about the incident, constable Shahrukh Hassan, who was riding a bike, was killed by a Chinese Manjha last Saturday. In this case, the police had arrested three shopkeepers from Khalil Garvi and Mohammadzai area.

During the arrest, constable Dushyant posted at the police station took a bribe of Rs 50,000 in exchange for releasing a shopkeeper of Khalil Garvi.

The image of the police department was tarnished after the case went viral on social media. When it came to the notice of top officials, the bribe amount was returned, but in a confidential investigation conducted on the instructions of SP Rajesh S, the allegations were found to be true. On the basis of investigation, the accused constable has been transferred to Paraur police station with immediate effect.

According to CO City Pankaj Pant, prima facie the allegations have been found to be true and investigation into the matter is still going on. According to sources, after the investigation is completed, more strict action can be taken against the accused constable.
