A fire broke out in the two-storey house of an electronics goods mechanic in Mehboobganj of Saadganj, Lucknow late on Friday evening. Neighbors brought the fire under control Zuber, a mechanic in an electronic company resident of Mahbubganj, had gone to the market with his wife on Friday evening. Son Shubhan was alone at home. Meanwhile the house caught fire. Hearing Shubhan’s screams, people nearby controlled the fire. While extinguishing the fire, neighbor Aamir suffered minor burns on both his hands. According to fire brigade personnel, the fire was caused by a short circuit. By extinguishing it in time, damage was avoided.
Fire brigade could not reach due to narrow road On receiving information about the fire, two fire tenders were sent from Chowk Fire Station to the spot, but since the house was in a narrow street, the fire brigade could not reach the spot. The firemen were able to control the fire by laying a hose pipe and the neighbors extinguished the fire.
