Paatal Lok Season 2 – Amazon Prime Video
The show has returned with its second season after more than 4 years. Jaideep Ahlawat and Ishwak Singh reprise their roles of Hathiram Chaudhary and IPS officer Imran Ansari.
Gul Panag, Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor and Jahnu Barua are also part of it. In the renewed season, Imran has been promoted as Hathiram’s senior and they are both investigating the high-profile murder case of Jonathan Thom, the founder of Nagaland Democratic Forum.
The Roshans – Netflix
The documentary series on the Roshan family features Hrithik, Rakesh, and Rajesh Roshan. It explores the lives of all the members of the family, reflecting on their journey. It also shows how they contributed immensely to cinema and music over the decades.
Rifle Club – Netflix
Aashiq Abu’s film witnesses rapper Hanumankind making his acting debut. Additionally, Anurag Kashyap makes his Malayalam debut through the film. The movie, which is based on a Western story with an Indian twist, was released in theatres on December 19.
Viduthalai Part 2 – ZEE5
The Vetrimaaran film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Manju Warrier. In the film, Vaathiyaar, the leader of Makkal Padai, is at the centre stage of the film as he struggles against oppression. Anurag Kashyap also plays a significant part in the film.
Chidiya Udd – Amazon Prime Video
The heartwarming crime drama features Jackie Shroff, Bhoomika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More and Mita Vashisht. The story is inspired by Abid Surti’s book Cages, based on true incidents. It chronicles the journey of a 20-year-old Seher (played by Bhoomika) who struggles and fights against all odds to survive.
