Hearing the commotion, people nearby ran and started relief work. People also informed the police. Police reached the spot and immediately took the injured to the hospital, but doctors declared two children dead. The condition of two women and a girl remains critical.

Veeru Singh of the same village has a farm in Chherat of Jawan police station area. In which plating is currently taking place. Veeru Singh has sold a plot to another person, in which the plot owner has taken out soil and made a pit. It has smooth soil, which people from nearby keep coming to collect.

On Saturday, around 8-9 pm, Brahm Dutt, wife of Machhala Devi of the village, had gone to collect soil with her daughter Shivani, 9 years old. Kranti Devi wife Ramu, 9 year old Hrithik son Ramu and Priyanka daughter Pramod alias Pintu of the village were also accompanying him. Everyone was going inside the pit and collecting soil. Then its frame collapsed and everyone was seriously injured.

Priyanka and Hrithik died, rest in ICU

In the accident, all five people got buried in the mud and were seriously injured. On receiving information about the accident, the regional police arrived and immediately took everyone to a nearby private hospital. Where doctors have declared 9 year old Hrithik, son of Ramu and 9 year old Priyanka, daughter of Pramod dead.

The condition of the other three also remains critical. Doctors have kept all three in ICU. Everyone has been kept under observation for 24 hours. The police have kept the bodies of both the children in the mortuary for post-mortem. Their post mortem will be conducted on Sunday.
