11 kg hashish consignment caught in Lucknow | Consignment of 11 kg hashish caught in Lucknow: worth Rs. 3.25 crore, action taken at Aishbagh station, was being sent from Bihar to Gujarat – Lucknow News



A smuggler was arrested with 11 kg of hashish at Aishbagh railway station on Sunday. The accused was going to Gujarat by Avadh Express train. Meanwhile, a joint team of NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) and STF arrested the accused on platform number one of the station.

The consignment was being sent from Bihar to Gujarat

Shatrughan Kumar, resident of Siwan district of Bihar, was going to Ankleshwar (Gujarat) in train number 19038 Avadh Express at Aishbagh railway station at 12.30 pm on Sunday night. On the basis of confidential information, NCB (Narcotic Control Bureau) and STF reached A-1 coach when the train arrived at platform number 01. During this time the accused was traveling on seat number 38.

11 kg hashish found in 22 packets

During investigation, 22 packets were found in the bag, which was going from Bettiah (Bihar) to Ankleshwar (Gujarat) carrying about 11 kg of hashish. After this, the accused was removed from the platform and a case was registered. On this occasion, NCB sub-inspectors Sunil Kumar, Pankaj, Anurag Patel, Awadhesh Chaudhary, STF’s Virendra Singh Yadav, Neeraj Kumar, RPF’s Ram Pyare Yadav, Akhilesh Kumar and GRP’s Manish Kumar and other employees were present.
