In Lalitpur, a case has come to light of a bullion trader not making full payment after purchasing jewelery and threatening to kill him if he asked for money. On Sunday, on the complaint of the victim businessman, the police registered an FIR against a youth from Indore.

Sharad Kumar Soni, resident of Sarfayana of Talbehat Kotwali area, told the police that Rajesh Yadav, resident of Madhurinagar of Gaurinagar police station area of Indore, had purchased a chain from his shop in May 2023 and a necklace in December 2024. The price of the necklace was Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand 500 and Rs 15 thousand were outstanding for the chain. The businessman had given the goods to Rajesh on the guarantee of Parvati Yadav of Jamalpur and Abhay Yadav of Hanumangarhi.
Rajesh deposited some amount in the account, but still Rs 55 thousand is outstanding. When the businessman asked Rajesh for the outstanding amount on January 16, 2025, he abused him on the phone and threatened to kill him. The police took immediate action in the matter and registered an FIR against the accused and started investigation.
