In the dispute over soil mining in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, last Saturday, a dumper carrying soil from Kushmaura mining site was stopped by Scorpio riding bullies near Deoria Bharswa village. It is alleged that Manoj Yadav and Kundan Singh of Bhawanikheda along with about half a dozen of their associates.

Information about the incident was given to dumper owner Priyanshu Yadav, who is a resident of Mau village. He told that his dumper was going to dump soil in the irrigation department. The attackers not only beat up the driver and his companion but also threatened to kill them. After this all the accused fled from the spot.
The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital. Mohanlalganj Inspector Amar Singh said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against two named and several unknown accused for assault and threatening to kill. Police are investigating the matter and the search for the accused is going on.
