India Women became champion of Kho-Kho World Cup: Defeated Nepal 78-40 in the final; Indian team did not lose a single match in the tournament

India Women’s team has won the first World Cup of Kho-Kho. The final of the tournament was played on Sunday at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. India defeated Nepal by a huge margin of 78-40 and captured the title.

Kho-Kho World Cup was played in New Delhi from 13 to 19 January. The Indian team remained unbeaten in the tournament, while Nepal had to face its first defeat in the final itself. Men’s team India has also reached the finals, they are also facing Nepal.

India started with attack The final of the Women’s Kho-Kho World Cup started at 6 pm on Sunday evening. Nepal won the toss and chose to defend. India showed unilateral dominance in the first innings and scored 34 points. Nepal attacked in the second innings and scored 24 points, India also got one point in this turn. After half time, India maintained the lead by a margin of 35-24.

India Women’s dominance was visible in the final also and the team won the match by a margin of 78-40. Nepal was the only team in the entire tournament whose margin of defeat against India was less than 50 points.
