The incident happened late Saturday night. Taxi driver Ramesh Chandra (who hails from village Chabutra in Junwai police station area of ​​Sambhal) was waiting for passengers at Anand Vihar bus stand in Delhi. During this time, three youths came and sat in the car saying that they were going to Mussoorie from Ghaziabad. On the way, he asked to pick up another companion on the Kannauj Chitora route.

As soon as the car reached there the fourth person sat in the car. The miscreants looted the car, cash, ATM card and other items from the driver at gunpoint. The victim driver lodged a complaint at Muradnagar police station.

The scoundrel was trying to sell the car According to ACP Mussoorie Circle Siddharth Gautam, five teams were formed. On Sunday morning, information was received that the miscreant was planning to sell the car on Kannaujaa Duhai road. The police took immediate action and arrested three miscreants.

The arrested accused include Vivek (resident of Nagla Rathi, Meerut), Sajid (resident of Crossing Republic Ghaziabad) and Amit Kumar (resident of Vijaynagar Ghaziabad). The fourth accused Vinay, who is a resident of Chipiyana, Gautam Buddha Nagar, is still absconding. The police is searching for him.
