In the tough competition in the elections of Lakhimpur District Advocates Association, Kamalakant Dixit won the post of President by securing 970 votes by a margin of 229 votes. Rajeev Pandey won the post of General Secretary by securing 978 votes and won by a margin of 278 votes.

In the newly elected executive, Balashtar Pandey has been elected as senior vice president and Sushil Kumar Shukla has been elected as junior vice president. The responsibility of treasurer has been handed over to Satti Saran Gautam. Three members – Arvind Srivastava, Aishwarya Dhuria and Prabhakar Mishra have been selected as joint ministers. Anurag Vajpayee, Surendra Azad and Ashwani Sharma have got places in the governing body.
