Donald Trump had named Vivek Ramaswamy to co-lead the government agency efficiency booster along with Elon Musk.
Biotech entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will leave the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) to run for governor in Ohio, which is his home state, CBS News said in a report.
Trump appointed Ramaswamy to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
But Musk’s team was growing “frustrated” with Ramaswamy’s lack of participation in DOGE. The broadcaster said there was tension between DOGE staff and Ramaswamy.
