The first anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir was celebrated with great pomp in Sitakund Dham of Sultanpur. In this program organized under the leadership of Dr. Kunwar Dinkar Pratap Singh, District President of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, Sitakund Dham was illuminated with 2100 lamps.

Senior Sangh official and former Minister of State Dr. Ramashankar Mishra and Sardar Sudeep Singh of Gurdwara Management Committee were present as chief guests in the program. Special guests included Sangh officials Dr. Pavnesh Mishra and Alok Arya.
The temple premises were decorated with rangoli and the entire atmosphere resonated with the chants of Maa Gomti and Jai Shri Ram. After Aarti, Prasad was distributed. On this occasion, a large number of devotees captured the scene of the grand festival of lights in their cameras.
Many dignitaries including Dr. Sudhakar Singh, State President of Gomti Mitra Mandal Madan Singh, President of Mahila Mandal Shalini Kasoudhan, Dineshanand Maharaj, wife of city MLA Vinod Singh, Mrs. Asha Singh were present in the program. This event gave the message of religious unity and social harmony.
