An incident of robbery from a collection agent of a finance company has come to light in Gorakhpur. The miscreants stopped the agent on the culvert between Siswa and Latkna villages of Harpur-Budhat area, beat him up and snatched his bag. The bag contained a tablet, laptop, biometric device and cash.

Agents were returning after the meeting, miscreants attacked Aditya Yadav, a resident of Rampur Budjar in Kushinagar district, is working as a collection agent in Bharat Finance Include Limited. In the complaint given to the police, he told that he had held meetings in Semri, Pindari and Molnapur villages. Late in the evening he was returning with his partner Sachin Sonkar. Sachin Sonkar is a resident of Bhagatpur village of Azamgarh district.
When they reached the culvert between Siswa and Latkana villages, the miscreants who had already ambushed them there stopped them. The miscreants not only beat and injured him but also snatched his bag.
Important equipment and cash were in the bag The victim told that the bag contained the company’s tablet, laptop, biometric device and cash. All these items were used for the company’s work. After the incident, Aditya Yadav lodged a complaint at Harpur-Budhat police station.
Police Station Head Mahesh Kumar Choubey said that a case has been registered on the basis of the victim’s complaint. The investigation of the case is going on and the police team is busy searching for the miscreants. Officials say that the accused will be arrested soon.
