In Prayagraj, Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat described the Kumbh Mela as a symbol of Indian unity. During the inauguration of miniature painting exhibition ‘Bhagwat’ in Allahabad Museum, he said that Kumbh Mela is only for spiritual gain or earning virtue.

Shekhawat said that people of different religious beliefs, worship systems and cultural traditions come together in the Kumbh Mela. Referring to history, he said that even though India was divided into small states before the Mughal and British rule, the Kumbh Mela has always been a proof of India’s unity. This fair reflects the strength of Indian culture, where people of all religions and sects come together without any discrimination.

At that time, a historical museum like Allahabad has organized an exhibition named Bhagwat on the events related to the spiritual belief of Kumbh.
Display of pictures related to the story Through this exhibition, on one side, pictures related to Kumbh and stories related to Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna were displayed in incidents related to Kumbh. He said that the people coming here will also get the opportunity to see and understand the richness and depth of India’s art that existed hundreds of years ago.
Shekhawat said that the Culture Ministry has created Kalagram to showcase the eternity of this Mahakumbh of India. An exhibition named Shashwat has been organized in that Kalagram. He said that 3 thousand years of written and unwritten history of Kumbi has been shown in Kalagram. At the same time, how work has been done to bind a country full of diversity in the thread of unity has also been displayed.
Shekhawat offered flowers on the statue of martyr Chandrashekhar Azad installed in the museum and paid tribute to him. Also visited various galleries of the museum from Shekhawat.
Shekhawat also reached Kalagram located in Sector 7 of the Union Culture Ministry and visited the exhibitions.
