In a sensational incident in Nandgram police station area of Ghaziabad, 35-year-old road contractor Chanchal Jatav was shot dead. Old enmity is said to be the reason behind the murder of Chanchal, a resident of Deendayal Puri Nai Basti.

Giving information about the case, DCP CT Rajesh Kumar Singh said that deceased Chanchal’s brother Kuldeep is a history-sheeter, against whom 17 criminal cases are registered. In the year 2023, Kuldeep had carried out a fatal attack on a young man named Gaurav, in which case he is currently in jail.
Family members allege that to take revenge of this rivalry, Gaurav and his three associates have murdered Chanchal. When the police got information about the shooting, Chanchal was immediately taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
Considering the seriousness of the case, the police have formed several teams, which are conducting raids to arrest the accused. This incident is another example of a revenge killing that leads to a chain of crimes.
