Two innocent daughters of Chhote Lal Gautam, a 45-year-old teacher working as a lecturer at Jawahar Smarak Inter College Meetai in Ashirwad Dham Colony of Hathras, were brutally murdered. The perpetrator of this dreadful incident was none other than his own nephew and

The incident took place on January 22 at around 1:30 am. Vikas and one of his friends came to Chhote Lal’s house at 9 pm. After eating food everyone slept. Meanwhile, in the silence of the night, both the accused slit the throats of 13-year-old Srishti and 7-year-old Vidhi with a sharp weapon. Srishti was a student of class 6, while Vidhi studied in class 1.

Couple also attacked, but escaped with life Younger Lal Gautam, who has been suffering from paralysis for the last one year, remains bedridden. After killing the girls, the accused also attacked Chhote Lal and his wife Veerangana Gautam. However, Veerangana showed courage and raised an alarm, after which the accused fled from the spot.

Police started investigation As soon as information about the incident was received, Superintendent of Police Chiranjeev Nath Sinha reached the spot and inspected. Police have sent the bodies of the deceased girls for post-mortem and have started investigating the matter seriously. Several police teams are engaged in search of the absconding accused.

Living in Hathras for 20 years Chhote Lal, a native of Fatehpur district, has been living in Hathras for the last 20 years. The police is now trying to find out the reasons behind this heinous crime. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic and mourning in the entire area.

Police appealed to the public The police have appealed to the general public that if anyone has any information related to this incident, they should immediately inform the police. Every possible effort is being made to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
