Most of the deaths were due to snake bites
As many as 24 patients, including 12 newborns, reportedly died at a government hospital in Maharashtra’s Nanded in the last 24 hours.
Most of the deaths were due to snake bites, NDTV quoted the Dean Nanded’s Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital as saying.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson Vikas Lawanade said the incident is a shame on the government.
