Balmukund Chaturvedi, a resident of Masari Gurusandi village of City Block, has been selected as an all-rounder in the Uttar Pradesh Blind Cricket Team. Which will participate in Nagesh Trophy National T20 National Cricket Tournament. 28 teams from different states of India will participate in it. The tournament will be played from 31 January to 10 March 2023 across 7 states.

A total of 6 groups were formed in the tournament
A total of 6 groups have been formed in this tournament. Mrs. Garima Chowdhary, president of Cricket Association for the Blind in Uttar Pradesh, informed that the Uttar Pradesh team has been placed in B group. Uttar Pradesh will start their league match from 6 February 2023 in Belagavi Karnataka. Dr. Sourav Rai, chairman of the selection team, said that 14 players from Uttar Pradesh have been selected. The team will participate in the camp organized in Agra on 1st and 2nd February 2023. From there Belagavi will leave for Karnataka.

Balmukund selected as all-rounder
Uttar Pradesh team has been made captain Dinesh Kumar and vice-captain Ankur Kumar. Young player Balmukund Chaturvedi told that he has been selected as an all-rounder. He has been playing cricket for almost 20 years. The tournament is organized by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI).
