The District Magistrate has shown strictness on illegally operating hospitals in Sonbhadra. On Wednesday, Nodal Officer Dr. Gulab Shankar Yadav raided the Ghorawal police station area. 4 hospitals were sealed and OTs of 8 hospitals were sealed and notices were issued for not meeting the standards.

Inspection was done on the instructions of DM

The team inspected Vishwas Hospital and Malti Hospital. Both the hospitals were being run illegally. Along with sealing both the hospitals, notices were issued to the operators seeking their response. On not getting a satisfactory response, a warning was given to lodge an FIR if the hospital is run again.

During the surprise inspection, not a single doctor was found present among the doctors shown in Advanced Medicity Hospital Ghorawal, Pratibha Hospital Ghorawal, New Prati Hospital, Shivdwara Hospital and The Om Hospital Shivdwara Road.

OT sealed warning

Ignorance of standards was also found in the OT. On this, a notice was issued to stop OT operations with immediate effect and instructions were given that no surgical work should be done until the concerned doctor appears for renewal and submits his explanation and the deficiencies are removed.

Similarly, doctors were found present in Om Sai Nath Hospital Ghorawal, Urjachal Hospital and Surgical Center Shivdwar Road but negligence was found in the OT. These hospitals were issued notices and were asked to immediately close the OT and not perform any surgical work.

Similarly, the building of Shiv Mahima Hospital, Mukkha Mode was found to be not up to the standard. The hospital was found on the first floor. The concerned doctor was not found present at the time of inspection.
