Women will drive pink autos in Ayodhya.
Now women will be seen driving pink e-rickshaws in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Only women and girls will be able to travel on these. 50 pink e-rickshaws will be run in Ayodhya Municipal Corporation area, pink e-rickshaws will be run in the Municipal Corporation under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission.

With the help of ETO company, women will be given driving training and they will have to deposit Rs. 400 or 500 per day, the rest will be their income. The company will do the parking, charging and maintenance of the pink e-rickshaw. He said that the pink e-rickshaw will not only provide employment to women but will also eliminate the feeling of insecurity during travel among school and college going students, female teachers and women.
Free applications are being taken from women of self-help groups for the Pink E-Rickshaw Project. Women who are not associated with the group will also be linked to the groups. There will be 10 women in each self-help group and women associated with the self-help groups formed earlier will also be able to become a part of it. After training, driving licenses will be made for these women. Currently nine women are undergoing training. Under the target, the process of application and selection of the remaining women is going on.
