The contractor was lured back by returning the arrears
Jeetendra of the victim’s family of Ichchanagar said that 16 people missing from here had returned about 4 to 5 months ago. Then the contractor withheld a one month payment. These people used to call, but there was no answer. About 3 months ago, the contractor got a call that if you want to do the work, then the payment will also be made. Saddam told that there were 10–12 thousand. Here we do farming and nothing is there, so most of the people of the village go out to work.
The administration surveyed, rationed and got no help.
The victim’s family said that in the name of help, the administration has noted the names of all, the ration-water has been helped. The villagers themselves raised money and sent some people to Uttarakhand by car to bring the victims. The fare of 2 trains was about 25 thousand rupees. If the administration would have provided this help, it would have been very kind.
