As soon as he saw the family members, the accused started abusing them and arguing with them. On complaining about the incident, he ran away threatening to kill the family. The incident took place in Shahpur area. After this the family members informed the police. On the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused Ravindra Singh. Police have sent the girl for medical test.
Innocent child’s father sells vegetables
Actually, a family from Bettiah of Bihar province lives here in Shahpur area with a rented room. The girl’s father earns his family’s living by selling vegetables. On Sunday night at 8:30 pm, the victim’s 6 year old innocent girl was playing outside her house. Meanwhile, Ravindra Singh, a middle-aged man living in the same locality, arrived and took the girl to his newly constructed house on the pretext of taking the girl on a scooter.
Police registered a case and arrested
He took the girl to his house and raped her. After some time, when the girl’s family members arrived searching for her, the accused started abusing people and threatened to kill her and ran away. After which the family informed the police. The police registered a case against the accused under serious sections including kidnapping, rape, POCSO Act and other sections and presented him in the court on Tuesday, from where he was sent to jail.
