65% drop in TBMAUJ's earnings on working day: Earned only Rs 3.75 crore on first Monday, 'Lal Salaam' and 'Eagle' could not earn even Rs 2 crore

After collecting Rs 27 crore on the first weekend, there has been a drop of 65% in the earnings of Shahid-Kriti starrer film 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' on Monday. While the film had made a good collection of Rs 10 crore 75 lakh on Sunday, on its first Monday i.e. working day it did a business of only Rs 3 crore 75 lakh. Now in 4 days the Indian box office collection of this film has reached Rs 30 crore 85 lakh.

Highest occupancy remained in Chennai on Monday also
Since Day 1, this film is getting the highest occupancy from theaters in Chennai across the country. On Sunday, an occupancy of 71.75% was seen in only 44 shows of the film in Chennai. On Monday, its 43 shows had an occupancy of 37.33%. Despite being a Bollywood film, this film is performing better in South.

TBMAUJ earned Rs 55 crore worldwide in 3 days
However, this film has done good business not only in the country but also overseas. The film earned Rs 21 crore worldwide on the third day. With this, it has done a worldwide business of Rs 55 crore 10 lakh in 3 days.

Shahid-Kriti's 7th highest grossing film on first weekend
Earlier, this film has become the 7th highest grossing film of Shahid and Kriti's career on the first weekend. Shahid Kapoor's film 'Padmavat' has the highest collection in the first weekend. The film that has made the highest first weekend collection in Kriti's career so far is 'Adipurush'. Apart from Shahid and Kriti, actors like Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia and Rakesh Bedi are also seen in the film 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'.

On Monday also, Ravi Teja starrer 'Eagle' overtook 'Lal Salaam' in terms of box office collection. The film earned Rs 1.5 crore on the fourth day. Now its total collection has become Rs 17 crore 55 lakh.

Collection of 'Hanuman' close to 200 crores
Among all these films, South's superhit film 'Hanuman' has collected Rs 195 crore 94 lakh across the country in 32 days. It is soon going to touch the figure of 200 crores. The Hindi version of the film has done a business of Rs 50 crore.
