If you have a sweet tooth and crave desserts often, then this is a must-try recipe for you. Just use the leftover bread heels to make a pudding.

Ingredients required- 1 cup milk, 4 tablespoon butter, 1 egg, ¼ cup sugar, 4 bread heels, a handful of raisins and a pinch of salt.


  • Boil milk in a saucepan, add butter and mix well until combined. Also preheat the oven to 170°C. Chop the bread heels into small cubes.
  • Now take a bowl and beat the egg properly. Add sugar, salt and raisins. Mix well. Lastly, add bread cubes and milk in batches and mix gently.
  • Pour this mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 20-30 minutes.
