72 years old Akbar and 47 years old Jodha: Naseeruddin Shah said on working with a 25 years younger girl – she should play my daughter

Naseeruddin Shah has played the role of Akbar in the series ‘Taj Divided by Blood’. His opposite Sandhya Mridul will be seen in the role of Jodha. Naseeruddin Shah talks about doing romantic scenes with Sandhya. He says that Sandhya is so young in age that she could have played the role of his daughter as well.

On the other hand, Sandhya says that she was very comfortable working with Naseer sahib. According to Sandhya, during the shooting of romantic scenes, Naseer used to joke a lot, so that the atmosphere could be lightened during the shooting.

Naseer sir never allowed to be uncomfortable..
Sandhya told the media about the experience of working with Naseeruddin Shah, ‘Naseer sir was always joking on screen. He never let me be uncomfortable. He always used to tell me how small this girl is. Thank god I didn’t have to do too many romantic scenes with it.

Made fun of our age gap
Sandhya further said, ‘Naseer sir’s sense of humor is very good. If there was even a slight inconvenience while shooting a scene, he would start joking. He used to say that he would have turned her hair white, she can play the role of my daughter. Sandhya says that a lot of jokes were made about her and Naseeruddin’s age gap. But she was quite happy working with him. Where Naseeruddin is 72 years old, Sandhya is 47 years old.

Good coordination of Jodha-Akbar will be seen on screen
When Sandhya was asked about the relationship between Akbar and Jodha in the show, she said, ‘Akbar and Jodha share a good rapport. Akbar loves Jodha and also seeks her opinion from time to time. Although I cannot tell about it completely, but I will definitely say that the audience will get to see a good equation between Akbar and Jodha.

What is the story of Taj Divided by Blood?
Taj Divided By Blood will start streaming on ZEE5 from 3rd March 2023. The story of the series is set during the Mughal reign, when Akbar was choosing a worthy successor for his legacy. The series will delve into the art, poetry, brutality and architecture of Akbar’s reign.

However, even before this many films have shown the story of Akbar’s reign. Naseeruddin Shah plays Akbar in it. Apart from Naseeruddin, Dharmendra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ashima Gulati, Taha Shah, Sandhya Mridul and Shubham Kumar Mehra will also be seen playing important roles in this series.

Taj Divided By Blood will start streaming on ZEE5 from 3rd March 2023. In this series, Akbar’s children will be shown fighting for Takto Taj. Naseeruddin Shah plays Akbar in it.
