- 26 more doctors found positive in KGMU, 2369 patients in Lucknow including two senior IAS
- Staying in districts for 15 days will take effective steps to prevent corona infection
There have been 8490 new cases of infection with the corona virus in the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh, while 39 people succumbed during treatment. This is the largest number of infects found in a day in the state since the epidemic began. Earlier, on September 11, the maximum 7,103 corona infections were found in a single day on September 11. The number of people infected with the virus has now increased to 654404 in the state.
On the other hand, CM Yogi Adityanath has sent 13 officers as nodal in the most infected district. These officers have been instructed to monitor the districts. The CM office will monitor the rescue work being done to prevent the prevention of coronavirus from all the nodal officers.
26 more doctors of KGMU and two senior IAS were also positive
There have been 2369 new cases in the capital Lucknow, in which there have been 11 deaths. The death toll has reached 1265 in Lakhnau. At the same time, 26 doctors and employees in KGMU’s neurosurgery department have been infected with corona. After testing positive of 40 KGMU doctors, including VC of KGMU, 153 tests were conducted in which 3 faculty, 5 resident doctors, 18 staff are included. Apart from this, Additional Principal Secretary Secondary Aradhana Shukla and her husband IAS Pradeep Shukla have also been infected with Corona.
At the same time, 5 employees inside the post mortem house have been corona infected. According to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Medicine and Health, Amit Mohan Prasad, 39 more people have died from the Kovid-19 during the last 24 hours.
He said that by adding these new deaths, the number of people who lost their lives due to this deadly virus in the state has increased to 9003. So far 654404 people have been infected in the state, though out of these 606063 patients have become infection free. Prasad said that at present 39338 patients are under treatment in the state and 50% of these cases are from only 4 districts Lucknow, Prayagraj 1040, Varanasi 794 and Kanpur Nagar 368 cases.
Nodal officer will decide from his level to prevent corona infection
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a major initiative for the prevention of corona infection. On the instructions of CM Yogi, senior officers have been posted as nodal officers in 13 districts. All these nodal officers will stay in the concerned district for 15 days to coordinate with the DM and take effective steps for prevention of corona infection. These will be supervised by the Chief Minister’s Office.
CM Yogi had specifically reviewed more than 100 infected districts or districts with 500 active cases along with Team-11 officers and directed to send one senior officer to each of these districts. CM Yogi is very serious about the corona infection spreading in the state.
He has instructed the officers to strengthen the number of beds in hospitals and the system of treatment. On his instruction, night curfew orders have been issued from DM level in many districts in the state. Following the instructions of CM Yogi, orders have been given for the deployment of these 13 nodal officers on Thursday. CM Yogi has directed the nodal officers to take necessary decisions from their level and implement them for the treatment of patients in the district and to prevent corona infection.

Additional Chief Secretary Mukul Singhal informed that Vipin Kumar Jain, Special Secretary, City Development has been made the nodal officer of Lucknow. Similarly, Anjani Kumar Singh Director, State Agricultural Produce Market Council, Kanpur Nagar, Alok Singh Additional Director Suda Prayagraj, Amandeep Huli Additional Chief Executive Officer, Greater Noida Ghaziabad, Ravindra Singh Additional Chief Executive Officer Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority of Gautam Budh Nagar Nodal officer has been made.
Sandeep Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Bhadohi, Varanasi, Praveen Mishra as Chief Executive Officer, Meerut, Pawan Agarwal as Chief Executive Officer, Gorakhpur, Anil Kumar Singh as Special Secretary, Home and Prison Administration and Reforms Department, Jhansi, Arvind Kumar Chauhan as Secretary Agra, Manoj Kumar- Second Director Agricultural Marketing and Agriculture Foreign Trade Department has been made Saharanpur, Manoj Kumar Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, Bareilly, Dr. Indramani Tripathi Special Secretary, Urban Development Department has been made Nodal Officer of Moradabad.
