85.39% of the candidates got the first choice based on the exam center, IIT Delhi released the data, on September 27, the examination will be done in 1150 centers across the country.

IIT Delhi, which is organizing the JEE Advanced for admission to IITs, said that a total of 97.94 per cent of the candidates appearing for the exam have been allotted centers based on the top 3 examination centers of their choice. According to the Institute, out of the candidates who qualified in JEE Main 2020, a total of 1.6 lakh candidates have registered. All these have been allotted to the center keeping in mind their top 3 choices. Apart from this, 85.39 percent of the candidates are those who have got the examination center on the basis of their first choice.

Examination will be done in 1150 examination centers

IIT Delhi Director Prof. According to V Ramgopal Rao, the Chairman of JEE Advanced 2020 Prof. Siddharth Pandey headed by Prof. Parag Singla and Prof. Apoorva Das is busy preparing for the exam. Being held between Corona, 1150 examination centers have been set up in 222 cities for the first time in view of the safety of students during the examination. During the examination to be held on 27 September, all the arrangements have been made for rescue from Corona.

1,60,864 students registered

Of all the 1,60,864 students registered for JEE Advanced 2020, 1,55,551 have paid fees, while 5,313 students have not paid the fees. If these candidates do not charge at the center before the examination, they will be excluded. Also, in order to appear in the examination, the candidates will also have to submit a self declaration form to be corona free. Non-submission of the declaration form will disqualify the candidate in advanced 2020.

Keep these things in mind during the exam

  • Mild fever, cough and sitting in isolation room will have to be tested.
  • Due to social distancing, only 12 students will be seated in one room.
  • There will be a distance of six feet from one student to another, so two computers will remain empty in between.
  • Before the paper, the seating area, chair, table, monitor, key board, mouse, dest etc. will be sanitized from both the papers to doors, handles, wheelchairs (for differently abled students) etc.
  • The student must sign in front of their roll number before the paper begins. Hand sanitizers will be cleaned before and after signing.
  • The hands will be washed with soap as soon as they reach the examination center. New masks and gloves will be found later.
  • In order to reduce congestion, candidates will have to reach the examination center in different slots (30 minutes).
  • Non-compliance of Kovid-19 rules in the examination center will be excluded from the examination.
