Under the Green Hydrogen Policy, Yogi government will also promote startups in Uttar Pradesh. Under this, Yogi government will provide various types of benefits and incentives to those setting up industries. To encourage startups especially in green hydrogen, the government will provide financial incentive of maximum Rs 25 lakh per year per startup for 5 years. Apart from this, incubators will also be encouraged. For which Yogi Cabinet has approved the Green Hydrogen Policy on Tuesday itself. There is a possibility of creating 1,20,000 jobs under the policy in 5 years. UPENDA will be the nodal agency in the operation of the green hydrogen policy.
