Village head Nandlal Jaiswal of Mangari Bazar village of Pindra block surrendered in the court. Phulpur police was searching for the village head and Panchayat secretary since October in a case registered against them for embezzlement of Rs 16 lakh. This case was filed by the District Panchayat Raj Authority on the recommendation of the DM.
