The evaluation of board exams began with a symbolic protest by teachers in the Secondary Education Department on Tuesday. Teachers continued the evaluation of board copies by wearing black bands. During this, the teachers termed the compensation of Rs 25 lakh given by the government to the victim's family as inadequate and demanded an amount of Rs 1 crore. Earlier on Monday, after the Muzaffarnagar incident, the evaluation process was disrupted across the state and evaluation came to a complete standstill in many districts including Lucknow.
