Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) has reduced seats by 8-8 in each class. In the admission notification issued by KV, applications have been invited for 32 seats only. Till now there were 40-40 seats in every class from primary to higher secondary.
There has also been a change in the transfer policy of children. If parents working in private sector are transferred outside the state, children will not get transfer to schools in other states.
Kendriya Vidyalayas receive a large number of applications every year. In such a situation, the reduction in seats will be difficult for both students and parents.
Teachers are unable to pay attention due to too many children
Experts say that due to large number of students in KV, it is not possible to give them full attention and their efficiency gets reduced. Therefore this decision regarding reduction in seats has been taken. However, there is disappointment among students and family members regarding this.
transfer The benefit of the policy is only for those in government jobs.
In Kendriya Vidyalaya, admission is given to children of officers and employees working in government jobs as well as people working in the private sector. If the parents were transferred somewhere else, the children also got the facility of inter-state transfer. Now this has been changed.
Earlier, if seats were vacant, there was facility for transfer to the children of all the parents. Now only children of parents posted in government jobs will get this facility. Children of people working in private jobs will not get the benefit of state transfer facility.
