A case of illegal collection of money in the name of parking by stopping the bus of devotees taking Sangam bath has come to light. In the Sangam area of Daraganj, some people forcibly stopped the bus near Ramghat intersection and started hooliganism and assault. On protesting, they came on the road with sticks and beat up the bus driver and conductor and had a fight with the devotees. It is alleged that the overbearing young man gave away the mobile phone and also snatched away Rs 15,000. The video of fighting and uproar on the road has also gone viral.
A case has been registered in the matter today, April 8, at Daraganj police station. According to Inspector Daraganj Tushar Tyagi, raids are being conducted by registering a report against Ankush Yadav, Shani Jaiswal, Sanware and Golu under other sections including robbery. The matter is of illegal recovery in the name of parking. Two groups came face to face over collecting parking fees from buses. Is being investigated.

There have been cases of disputes, ruckus and fights regarding parking in Sangam area of Kumbh city. The Cantonment Board has given contract to an agency for parking at Sangam. Despite this, cases of illegal extortion in parking, assault with agency operators and others are coming to light. The latest case is of illegal recovery from a devotee after parking a bus. Those involved in illegal extortion stopped the bus and handed over the slip.
After this the matter escalated so much that sticks were used. There was a fierce fight between two groups when the bus of devotees was stopped. Each other was chased with sticks. There was an uproar after the video of this case went viral. After the video went viral on social media, the police conducted raids and started arresting the extortionists. However, since the entire matter is related to the Cantonment Board and administration, the police started action after gathering information from the agency that took the parking contract and the officials of the department that gave the contract.
