Chandauli’s Chakia Kotwali police team exposed the murder of an auto driver near Bhatwara village on May 19. In this case, the police have arrested four accused including two minors. Who was hit with an iron rod after a dispute with the auto driver over the fare.

He told that on May 19, the police team received information that the body of a youth was lying near Bhatwara village of Chakia area. When the police went to the spot and investigated, they found out that the young man was murdered by hitting him with a rod or a heavy object. Later during investigation, the deceased was identified as Amit Mishra, resident of Ramnagar in Varanasi district.

Booking auto on rent for Adalhat

During the investigation of this case, the police arrested four people including two accused from Taktakpur village of Chakia Kotwali area. Who were identified as Pankaj Kumar and Vijendra Kumar.

During interrogation, the accused told that they had booked an auto on rent from Varanasi to Adalhat. But midway there was a dispute with the auto driver. After this, the auto driver was killed by hitting him with a rod with the help of his associates near Bhatwara village. The team that arrested the accused included Kotwal Atul Prajapati, Girish Rai, Awadhesh Yadav and other policemen.
