Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification to start the application process again to fill 318 vacant posts of Block Horticulture Officer. Candidates who could not apply last time can apply by visiting the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. The application starts today and the last date is 29 May.
Educational Qualification :
Graduation degree in Agriculture Horticulture / Agricultural Science from a recognized Agricultural University.
Age Range :
- General Category : 21 Years.
- Unreserved Male : Maximum age 37 Years.
- Backward class, extremely backward class men, women, unreserved women: maximum age 40 years
- SC/ST, Male and Female Candidates: Maximum 42 Years
Fees :
- SC/ST/Female/PWD: Rs 200
- Other category: Rs 750
Salary :
- 25500 – 81100, Pay Matric, Pay Level-4
Selection Process:
- written exam
- Interview
Exam Pattern :
- It will have a total of 800 marks including 100 marks for General Hindi, 100 marks for General Knowledge, 200 marks each from two papers in Horticulture/Agricultural Science.
- The questions will be objective type.
- The number of questions in each paper will be 100.

- On the home page click on the link Application for the post of Block Horticulture Officer in the Directorate of Horticulture under Agriculture Department, Govt.
- Now create user ID and password by entering personal details.
- After that login and fill the form.
- Pay the fees.
- Download and keep a copy of the form.
