There was a lot of uproar in Aligarh’s Quarsi police station area on Saturday. The remains of cows were lying near the railway line near Albarkat School, when people got information about this, a crowd gathered at the spot. On getting information about the matter, Hindu supporters also reached the spot and started sloganeering.

On receiving information about cow slaughter, police force from Quarsi and Civil Lines police station reached the spot. A chopped carcass of cow was lying on the railway track, due to which the Hindus were very angry. After which the police pacified them by explaining and assured that strict action will be taken against the accused.
The protest lasted for several hours
The whole matter is of Jamalpur railway line located in Hamdard Nagar of Quarsi. Here the cow was cut with a sharp weapon and thrown on the side of the railway line. The cow was badly bleeding and had died, due to which people created a ruckus.
The Hindus were demanding action against the accused. After which the police assured them of action and started scanning the CCTV cameras of the surrounding area so that those who brought the cattle there could be identified. People calmed down after the police started taking action.
Investigation started after filing a case
After the incident, a written complaint has been filed by Hindu Raksha Dal against the unknown accused. The police is registering a case and a team has also been formed to investigate the matter. So that the accused can be traced and strict action can be taken against them.
CO Third ASP Amrit Jain said that on receiving information about the incident, the police team immediately reached the spot. The case of cow slaughter is being investigated and a case is being registered. The team is investigating the matter and strict legal action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
