EduCare News: Registration for CBSE Board 10th, 12th supplementary exam starts, apply if you have less than 33% marks, last date is 15 June

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notification for supplementary exams for class 10 and class 12. Registration for supplementary exams for class 10 and 12 can be done from May 31. Only those students can appear for the supplementary exam who have registered online and whose marks including practicals are less than 33%.
12th exams will be held on 15th July, register by 15th June
CBSE Board 10th and 12th supplementary exams will begin from July 15. According to the CBSE schedule, supplementary exams for all subjects of class 12 will be held on July 15. Soon the board will release the schedule of supplementary exam for class 10. The last date for registration for the exam is June 15.
You can give supplementary exam in 2 subjects in 10th and in only 1 subject in 12th
The board has said that it is the responsibility of the schools to contact the students who have to give supplementary exams. The board said that the schools should clearly explain to the students that those students who want to give supplementary exams in class 10 can improve their marks by giving exams in total 2 subjects. Whereas, in class 12, students will get a chance to improve their marks in only one subject.
You can give supplementary exam thrice
You will get a maximum of three chances to pass the supplementary exam. After the exam in July, you can also give supplementary exams in February-March and July-August next year. In class 10, you can give supplementary exams in 32 subjects while in class 12, you can give supplementary exams in 80 subjects.
Fee for each subject will be Rs 300 and late fine will be Rs 2000
The fee for CBSE supplementary exam is Rs 300 per subject. There is a fine of Rs 2000 for paying late fee. For private candidates, the fee for each subject is Rs 1000. For Nepali students, the fee per subject is Rs 1000. For foreign students studying in CBSE affiliated schools, the fee per subject for supplementary exam is Rs 2000.
Pay fees through debit card, NEFT
Indian students can pay the exam fees through credit card, debit card, NEFT and RTGS. Whereas, foreign students can pay the fees through debit card, credit card and SWIFT payment.
Separate mark sheet will be issued after supplementary exam
CBSE Board will issue a separate admit card for the supplementary exam. For those students who have compartment marks in their mark sheet in the result of the board exam 2024, a separate mark sheet will be issued for those students after the result of the supplementary exam.
