Counting of votes for 4 assembly seats in UP has been completed.
Voting was held on four assembly seats of UP along with the Lok Sabha elections. These seats are Lucknow East, Dadraul of Shahjahanpur, Gainsadi of Balrampur and Duddhi of Sonbhadra. Counting has ended on all four seats.

SP’s Vijay has won in Duddhi of Sonbhadra and SP’s Rakesh Kumar Yadav has won in Gainsdi assembly seat of Balrampur. While BJP’s OP Sharma has won in Lucknow East and BJP’s Arvind has won in Dadraul.
Meanwhile, in Shahjahanpur, the state government’s finance minister Suresh Khanna was accused of forcibly entering the vote counting centre. Seeing this, the SP workers created a ruckus. The situation there became chaotic.
