Lavkush Kumar lives with his family in the village of Pure Thakurain Majra Usraina in the Unchahar Kotwali area. He had gone to Salon for some work with his younger son Sandeep Kumar in the afternoon. His wife Sushila Devi (45) and his elder son Kuldeep Kumar were at home. Villagers say that Kuldeep had gone somewhere in the village. When he returned home after some time, he saw something in the house that made him furious.

He lost his temper in anger and killed his mother

After that he lost his temper and killed his mother with an axe kept in the house. Then he took the body behind his house and set it on fire by sprinkling petrol over it. The villagers saw smoke. They also started smelling a foul smell. This made them suspicious. When they reached the spot, the body was burning. As soon as the news of burning body spread in the village, a crowd gathered.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep got the chance and ran away. After this, the villagers informed the police about the incident. The police have sent the half-burnt body for post-mortem. Village head Iftikhar Ahmed said that the police has arrested the accused. He is being questioned.
